What is your primary product or service?
Knitting, weaving, spinning supplies, equipment, yarns, books, accessories and gifts. On going classes in spinning, weaving, knitting, felting, dyeing.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always used my hands to sew, quilt, spin, weave and knit. I continue to take classes myself to develop skills for the classes I teach at the shop.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are not just a knitting store, we are also a full service spinning and weaving, and felting store. We have cones of yarn, fibers for spinning and weaving. We have a lot of "differnt" and unusual yarns and items as well as some standard yarns. We are known for our friendly and helpful staff.
What type of payments do you accept?
cash, visa, mc
Which areas do you service?
Fiber arts, including spinning, knitting, weaving. We service students of all ages, seniors, men and women.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I do, with part time staff.
What are your hours of operation?
10 - 6 Monday - Saturday
11-3 Sunday
6-8 Tuesday night for Knit Nite
